Stands out due to its sense of Gothic harmony and balance. The access pointed arch doubles in the top part of the faade, leaving both registries divided by a frieze, being the entrance framed by pillars joined together forming a cornice.

The entrance frame, trumpet shaped, run by archivolts supported in small columns with cylindrical capitals, above the tympanum decorated with figures , the exterior archivolt, the alfiz frieze and the superior frieze under the main window. The column that divides the two entrance doors olds a Madonna (Mary with Jesus in her left arm) made by Francisco de Crisal, son of Juan Garcia de Crystal , author of the main altar piece.

The exterior Archivolt

Contains twelve figures under canopies, and the interior decorated.

The Alfiz Frieze

Frames the faade main arch. The central part contains nineteen figures under canopies, the middle one higher than the others represents The Crucify, flanked by six figures in each side, representing the apostles. At both ends, there are two groups of three figures in each, the bathism of Christ (at right), the Pieta (at left). Under the base of the main frieze, have small figures representing a moral bestiary, including also the human. Under the main frieze, two images on pedestal, represents two monks. The side pillars are fill with seven figures at each side, representing angels and saints, standing on decorated corbels (some missing).

Both the frieze and the archivolt are made in golden sand stone.



The Angels Frieze

Under the main window, comes a decorative band with nineteen angels follow by the sun, the moon and a star, the external are natural and vegetation images.
The façade may represent the Redemption catechizes in two levels, heaven and earth joined by the shaft of the cross, being the church submitted to moral order, inside a cosmos ruled by God. It is a simple and didactive exposition of the salvation, probably mixed with the conception of the world at the medieval time.
